Chik Budo @ Shunt March 12th // 05/03/2011
Chik Budo, BangStrokeBlow & other performance madness @ ShuntOn Saturday the 12th, Chik Budo will be performing at Shunt, which despite constant rumours of imminent demise still appears to be still going, which is great news for us and you. It's actually getting a bit legendary now. From what we can see on the website the whole event looks like it's going to be completely bonkers, which I think is more than suitable for us.
The event is being been curated by Nelly Ben Cahoun, and it's wide range of performers, intense preperation and thematic detail have all been carefully and lovingly put together by a group of people who actually give a shit about what they are doing and want to give you an amazing, fresh, and potentially brain mangling night out. So bring it on, we say.

Budo on Youtube.. sort of // 15/12/2010
New non-video on video site. Yeah, we know..We're new to Youtube - well, we're not, but we've never used it much and this is something we'd like to work on. We don't currently have much in the way of video, so we're starting just by putting some music up. This is a tune we did when Hachi visited us from Italy in the Summer. Ah.. Summer. Remember that?

Chik Budo @ 93 Feet east // 28/08/2010
Saturday October 30th Halloween SpecialThis is going to be a unusual Halloweens night out as there are about 35 bands on. Sounds a bit mentalistic maybe, but we're looking forwards to it because 93 Feet East is a favourite venue of ours. What is most remarkable about this gig however is that you will have the opportunity to witness the somewhat astonishing feat of Colin Budo playing both Sax AND Synths - although probably not at the same time. Fresh from bringing a gorgeous little baby girl into the world, fertile young Webbo will be attempting a second round of heroics by undertaking the unenviable task of filling the absent shoes of Mr Curtis Stansfield, who has been stolen from us for a BigMoneyPopRock opportunity across the channel. Go team Budo.. you can do it!!!!

Chik Budo @ Proud Galleries // 28/08/2010

Chik Budo @ Glastonbury // 18/06/2010
All the details about our performance next week!Chik Budo are playing Glastonbury 2010 - twice! We will be performing on Friday night/Saturday morning at 2;30am, and again on Sunday night/Monday morning at 3:30am. We will be at DogFacedGeishas, which is a an all-night Manga themed bar that can be found in Block 9.
Block 9 is a new area at the festival next to Shangri-La that looks like a street complete with a hotel that has a burning car embedded in it's roof..in a field. Its going to be a bit mental we think!
